Shorty's Hardware started in the early nineties and took the skate industry by storm by supplying shorter hardware for street skaters who were using smaller wheels with no riser pads and by running print adverts featuring Rosa. They expanded their hardware offering to Black Magic grip, Dooks risers, Doh Doh bushings, Qik and Black Panther bearings. In the early 2000s they started producing decks and sponsored Chad Muska, Peter Smolik and Steve Olson but they have now dropped the board division and concentrate on hardware and clothing.
