Almost is the collaborative brainchild of old friends and technical skateboarding pioneers Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song, who formed the company in 2003. In keeping with Mullen’s lust for progressive technology to compliment the pace of progression in skateboarding, they manufacture boards with 7-ply, 8-ply and carbon fiber constructions. The decks are bound with Resin epoxy glue. The carbon fiber constructions are included in a number of models, named Impact Support, Double Impact and Über Light. The Almost team includes Youness Amrani, Yuri Facchini, Max Geronzi, John Dilo and Tyson Bowerbank.
