Brand Focus: Lurpiv

Founded in 2021, Lurpiv Trucks are the latest company to enter the skateboard truck market.  It’s always interesting to see a new brand enter the truck arena, and given that it’s a relatively under-represented area of the market, Lurpiv will be rubbing shoulders with stalwarts of the industry such as Independent, Thunder and Venture. Manufactured in Sweden, and headed up by Nike SB and Polar Skate Co powerhouse Oskar Rozenberg, we expect nothing but good things, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the brand.

Featuring a simplistic, utilitarian aesthetic, the trucks are reminiscent of the efficient, high-quality design which Sweden is known for. Oski notes that he had “always believed there must be a way” to encompass Swedish creative innovation and high technology in the skateboard industry, and this venture has given him the platform and opportunity to do so.
