Nike SB x Converse Cons x Alexis Sablone - AS-1 and Dunk Low

Nike and Alexis Sablone have once again been hard at work in the SB lab, manipulating elements to create a new rendition of the coveted dunk but this time they’ve done the unthinkable – partnered with Converse Cons to produce a seldom-seen collaboration for the Olympics.

Sablone’s ability to bring worlds together knows no bounds by the looks of things. In the past, She’s merged art, academics and architecture with skating and this time she’s managed to pull together two industry juggernauts for a special release. The cons AS-1s and Dunks from this releases are pretty unique and definitely gunning for gold in the release of the year category.

Converse CONS AS-1 Pro Shoes White/Fuchsia Glow/White

The AS-1 Pro features a scale-patterned white leather and vibrant fuchsia suede details including the logo, heel tab and eyelets. While on the outside this skate shoe looks a like a pretty clean unassuming colourway of Sablone’s pro model, Converse and Sablone have cooked up something little more special with an undercoat of that magenta beneath the white that’s revealed over time. Basically, the more you skate them the more unique they’ll be.

Nike SB Dunk Low Oil Green/Desert Moss-White

This pair of dunk is a doozy! Similar to the AS-1 it features this sort of dino-come-fish scale pattern but Nike SB have decided to go buck-wild with it. These are nicknamed the chameleon dunk and with the green and moss scaling featured on all of the overlays you can see why. The Chameleon theme is taken further again with the fact that, yes you guessed it, these bad boys change colour over time as the top layers are worn down. Now, it’s up to you how you go about doing that but we’d recommend popping yourself down to Gooseside DIY and skating them to see the panels colour-shift in real time. A treat for the old peepers indeed.

There’s been plenty of “out there” dunks over the years and yes these may make the list too but we’re sticking our necks out and saying these just could be the dunk release of the year.

How to grab a pair of the CONS AS-1 and the Dunk Low Chameleon

If you’re looking to snag a pair of the AS-1s, the Converse CONS AS-1 Pro Shoes White/Fuchsia Glow/White will be available to purchase on the 29th of August on our regular site

While we’d love to pop the dunks also on the site at the same time, we have a sneaky suspicion that they may be subject to some bot pilfering or some pesky proxies so here’s how you can grab a pair for yourself!

This limited collab is set to release on Wednesday at 8am on our releases site. The first opportunity to buy the Nike SB Dunk Low Shoes Oil Green/Desert Moss-White will go to our most loyal and best customers that subscribe to our email newsletter. The email will be sent at 8:00am Wednesday 28/08/2024 to a limited number of people that our computer algorithm has identified as good NOTE customers. All your in store and online purchases count towards getting chosen as long as you use your email when you check out. We do this to ensure that only real people get to order one pair and the stock doesn't get gobbled up by greedy bots or gangs of proxies. Please don't ask us to put you on the newsletter list, simply subscribe and the more you shop with us the more likely you are to get the releases email.  If we have any remaining pairs left after the newsletter release, they will be available in the NOTE Thomas Street shop and online later in the day.

So in the meantime, have a gander at the shoes and bookmark the relevant pages.

I have gotten shoes and boards from your store before, however it was through the shop site so I did not use my email account. Your company has amazing products.
