Nike SB x April Skateboards Turbo Green Dunks

The much-anticipated collaboration between April Skateboards and Nike SB has finally arrived, and it's causing a stir between the Workers and Lurkers. This partnership, led by pro skater Shane O'Neill, marks April Skateboards' first foray into the world of footwear, and it's clear that they've smashed it with the Nike SB x April Skateboards Dunk Low.

Combining a pretty decent design with some April-esque artistic touches, this shoe is not your regular dunk and definitely highlights the April Skateboards lot know their way around some CAD software.

A Fresh Take on the Dunk

Unlike most Dunks, the Nike SB x April Skateboards Dunk Low deviates from the usual all-leather construction. Instead, it features a breathable 'White' mesh base that adds a modern sportswear twist to the silhouette. The shoe's standout feature is the vibrant 'Racer Blue' suede overlays that wrap around the entire upper, giving it very dope look. 

April Skateboards Details and Finishes

April Skateboards' signature style is for sure evident in the details and finishes of the Nike SB Dunk Low. The shoe boasts 'April' branding stitched across the back and heel. A shiny, chromed-out Swoosh glides through the sides of the shoes. And the icy rubber outsole not only complements the top-half of the shoe but also reveals a rose graphic. All of these elements are true to April Skateboards' usual unique aesthetic. Not too shabby at all.

This edit features some of the biggest names in skateboarding, including Shane O'Neill, Yuto Horigome, Dashawn Jordan, Guy Mariano, Rayssa Leal, Noah Nayef, and Yosef Ratleff. When this crew comes together for an edit you know you’re in for some bangers. If these shoes give you even 1% of the skill in this edit everyone should want a pair.

The Nike SB x April Dunk Low Pro Shoes Racer Blue/Metallic Silver-White is set to launch on 27 November at 8am on our releases site.
