Nike SB Orange Label Spring 2022
Orange Label
Available exclusively in skate shops and solely in Manchester from NOTE, Nike SB’s Orange Label range is their way of saying “Thank You” to skate shops for their dedication to the communities they serve, and for inspiring generations of people to pick up a skateboard and get out there. Inspired by a range of archival Nike silhouettes such as the Bruin, Blazer and Dunk, Nike SB Orange Label combines exceptional product quality through the use of high-end materials with subtle design to ensure that your skate shoes and apparel are geared up for optimal performance, whilst keeping you looking aesthetically fresh.
Nike SB Orange Label releases to date have also included collaborations with their professional skaters including Oskar “Oski” Rozenberg, Kevin Bradley, Ishod Wair and Leo Baker, each time affording the team rider a creative outlet to showcase an aspect of their personality via the medium of a high performance, high quality skate shoe and apparel collection.
Spring 2022 Collection
2022 marks 20 years of Nike SB, and their latest collection draws on clear influences from their lineage. Nike SB's apparel for this season is spearheaded by the Storm-FIT Jacket, harnessing a bomber-jacket vibe with added insulation, and featuring the iconic Nike SB woodgrain print which famously adorned collectible Nike SB skate shoe inlay paper from the early 2000s. Featuring 100% recycled polyester fibres, this one should appeal to the environmentally conscious of you out there.
To further mark the 20th anniversary of SB, Nike have remixed the aesthetic of the classic heritage Nike SB Skate t shirt, by adding a pair of Dunk Highs to the proverbial equation to slake the thirst of Dunk aficionados worldwide.
On the skate shoe frontline we see Nike SB's latest iteration of the iconic and hugely sought after Dunk silhouette, in the form of the Kentucky inspired colour way, featuring varsity royal hits on supple white leather. OG basketball vibes are present on this shoe from the colour way to the orange hints on the insole and tongue label subtly doffing its cap towards Nike's original orange shoe box from 1971. Absolutely timeless Swoosh clad stuff. These colourways are then further rolled out across a Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid and a Zoom Blazer Low Pro GT.
