Come to that meeting in Urbis at 7pm tonight

Seems like Manchester has been short changed when it comes to free, public skate facilities. Councils around the UK are buying concrete skateparks and plazas for there skaters, BMXers and bladers. Whereas here, despite having one of the biggest and best scenes we've been palmed off with some dodgy quarters and driveways in kiddy play grounds. Ben at SkateMCR and has done a good job of getting the council to take notice and perhaps attending this meeting could improve things. Splodge 24/07/07
