Leo Baker, the legendary skater for Nike SB, Glue Skateboards, Spitfire Wheels, Independent Trucks, Bronson Speed Co., Mob Grip, and Pawnshop Skate Co, is making waves once again. This time, it's with the highly anticipated release of his first pro shoe, the Nike SB React Leo. Baker has been breaking barriers and pushing boundaries and his influence extends far beyond skateboarding. We’re massive Leo Baker fans, here, at NOTE and are stoked to see his pro model come through the shop doors.

Unveiling the Nike SB React Leo

The Nike SB React Leo is a culmination of Leo Baker's career. Inspired by some of his favourite SBs and classics from the Nike Vault, particularly the SB Bruin High, this signature shoe embodies his unique style and approach to skateboarding. Available in a very nice "Cacao Wow" colourway, the Nike SB React Leo is a visual representation of Leo's vision and creativity.

The Nike SB React Leo combines some classic innovation with modern technology. The shoe features triple-reinforced stitch details on the side and around the toe, ensuring durability and longevity. Its hybrid vulcanised cupsole construction (yes, Nike SB settling the “great” vulc vs cupsole debate here) provides optimal grip and board feel. The responsive Nike React midsole cushions impacts, ensuring comfort and support

All of that is to say this is a pretty tasty shoe and many of the shop lot are looking to get their greasy mitts on a pair.

Mark your calendars, because this beaut of a skate shoe is set to release on Friday, 15th. Not only that Leo has produced a video part which will also be releasing on Friday - we’ll be chucking it on the blog too, don’t worry.
